Alexander, I just did a fresh install of Jaunty. After adding the Ubuntu restricted extras (with firefox open) I started getting this same problem. The "your browser has been updated and needs to be restarted" dialog appears indefinitely. I have ubufox 0.7 and Firefox 3.0.9
