I can confirm the bug. I just downloaded 9.04 final version, and the bug is still here. I change Nautilus background by dragging Onyx from Colors to Nautilus background and the color changes, also file names become white so I can see them. Then I open a tab Ctrl+T, the background is Onyx which is correct, but the file name color is still black as if the background is default white, thus there is not much difference between background and file name color.
