Public bug reported: Binary package hint: flashplugin-installer
Upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04RC. Firefox complained about the missing plugin, so I tried to install the Adobe Flash player, but it said the package flashplugin-installer was already installed. I'm on 64-bit Ubuntu - 8.04 upgraded to 8.10 upgraded to 9.04RC. (I think it's RC, because I upgraded at 11:30pm IST on 22nd April, but I don't know if there is any way to check for sure.) Not sure if it's relevant, but I saw some information regarding this on the forums, so I'll mention that I'm running Compiz, and "Unredirect fullscreen windows" is checked. Workaround: I purged flashplugin-installer and flashplugin-nonfree, and reinstalled flashplugin-installer and everything is fine. ** Affects: flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Firefox doesn't detect flash plugin after upgrading from 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/365400 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
