I reported this bug earlier on 8.10. I can confirm this bug on 9.04 (Jaunty) 32-bit too. (I reinstalled, no dist-upgrade.) Maybe it is useful to report that this bug appears on my ntfs share (as you can see in the screenshot I posted earlier).
