Indeed there are some issues with intel video cards. The common ones are
listed at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Bugs/IntelDriver
You need to take some additional steps to provide a complete report.
What is your Ubuntu version ? When did you first notice the symptoms
occurring? Do you have compiz installed ? Is disabling compiz preventing
the issues ? If your system is a laptop, do you suspend/resume it before
the issues appears ? Are there any specific steps to do in order to
reproduce the issues ? Could you also please take a screenshot of what
you are describing ?
