Public bug reported: I'm running Jaunty with the latest updates as of today on a Toshiba Tecra M8 and using the volume wheel causes the notification window to go crazy. If I change to another terminal, with ctrl-alt-f1 for example, and then return to the graphical interface, everything works again.
