disregard what brian suggests. if you followed his instructions remove
those files/packages again and install flashplugin-nonfree (or in jaunty
flashplugin-installer) again. Your problem is that you are using swfdec.
Remove swfdec-mozilla package from your system:

 sudo apt-get remove --purge swfdec-mozilla
 sudo apt-get install --reinstall flashplugin-nonfree

and ensure that the npwrapper. for libflashplugin.so is selected by running:
 sudo update-alternatives --config xulrunner-addons-flashplugin
