ubuntu/kubuntu DVDs and ubuntustudio are also affected by this. There are three options:
- unseed kino; removes functionality from the ISOs that was present in previous releases - upload kino, dropping the Recommends: to a Suggests; appears to be incorrect in the strict sense according to the definitions of these fields, given Debian bug #457988 - leave the images as-is, where ffmpeg is on the ISOs but will only be successfully installable if the network is available; violates the invariant that installing from ISO gives the same results as installing from network. None of these options are great, but we have to pick one. -- edubuntu-desktop installs ffmpeg which depends on libavcodec52 but is not on install media https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364440 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
