Hi In Fedora forum they recommended / found a fix that involved acpi functions of the kernel. In addition most people reported that this issue is doesn t occour with older kernel i.e. 2.6.27-11. There seems to be a fixed xorg driver for intel cards (last page in the following link). I by myself can only confirm that newer kernel version .i.e 2.6.30 RC2 do still have the bug..... Anyone wit mor eknowledge might want to read the thread and see what the guys have found out - sadly I didnt get it all :-(
