Same on my machine using Kubuntu 9.04 RC I was not able to install sun- java. KPackageKit was unable to display Sun's licence. The sad thing is I was not able to sort this problem with KpackageKit only. Even if I wanted to give up installing Java and proceed with installation of something else I had to use apt to do that.
