Just for your information, I'm think I'm on my way to find the cause of
the problem. I think it is one of the daily cron scripts. What I've done
now is that I mode all files from /etc/cron.daily another directory.
Since then, the problem has not occured. Now i'm moving one script per
day back to /etc/cron.daily. So far I have the following scripts enabled

~> ls /etc/cron.daily/
apt aptitude find.notslocate slocate tetex-bin

and the problem still hasn't occured. So my guess is that it has
something to do with one of the scripts that I have currently disabled:

~> ls /etc/disabled.cron.daily/
0anacron bsdmainutils logrotate man-db standard sysklogd

I'll post back here when I find the culprit.
