Public bug reported:
unable to run compiz after upgrade of 4/18/09. it had worked previously.
When trying to enable compiz to run using appearance preference - visual
effects I get dialog box stating "Desktop effects could not be enabled"
is this the same problem as in alpha beta 8.10 of blacklisted Intel
graphics boards? I am running intel graphics board on HP Pavilion 9500
laptop.
