"What about including Mesa 7.5 in Jaunty?" No, it is way too late into release freeze to pull in new versions. Also, odd numbered mesa's are unstable versions, and the reason we wanted to be on 7.4 in the first place is so Jaunty would have a "stable release" version of mesa.
However, cherrypicking well-tested fixes from mesa 7.5 is certainly in the cards, if they can be shown to solve key issues in jaunty.
