Public bug reported: I'm running Jaunty with the latest updates on a Dell Studio 15 laptop and the wireless controller doesn't seem to be detected. There is a hardware switch and I have tried booting the laptop with the switch turned either way, and ifconfig -a only shows three interfaces each time: eth0, lo and pan0.
I tried installing linux-restricted-modules but the wireless interface still doesn't seem to appear.
