OK, now I can see the problem. I't my fault. We had two files, ~/.asoundrc and ~/.asoundrc.asoundconf. The last one contained the following:
pcm.!default { type pulse } ctl.!default { type pulse } The above was causing troubles. I'd just removing the two files, and now it seems to works well. Alexander, can you check the presence of the above two files?
