After a reboot, everything was fine except that the old kernel was loaded (2.6.27-11). I added manually an entry in grub (/boot/grub/menu.lst) and now it seems to work correctly with the new kernel (2.6.28.11). Maybe there is another problem that I haven't seen yet.
