What powered USB hub do you use oxyph? I have a Laser powered 7 port USB 2.0 hub[1], and still get the fast paced popping sound regardless of whether I plug the audio device into the hub, or directly into the laptop. Up to date kernel 2.6.28-11 on 9.04 beta x86_64
