I have been messing with a few programmes and while the webcam will not turn on with cheese I have managed to get input with ekiga.
Ekiga lists the following; Input device: BisonCam, NB Pro Format: PAL (Europe) Channel: 0 Image: (None) The shortcut (fn+F6) seems to be toggling the device on/off but the light to indicate this on only ever functions with ekiga running.
