Excuse me piggy-backing on this bug report, but the other issue with the
kexec reboot is that it's impossible to reboot into another operating
system on a dual-boot machine with it enabled. Even if it is/becomes
stable enough for use (I have to say it works fine on my machine), it
might be worth only enabling it if no other operating systems are found
during installation.

Adam: as a temporary work around, you can set LOAD_KEXEC=false in
/etc/default/kexec ..
