Hi Jerone, I've retried this by update the system first then add the following in Xorg.conf: Section "Device" Driver "intel" Option "DRI" "false" Option "Tiling" "false" EndSection
After that, I then install the package provided previously. The grahpic resolution stayed the same, there's no option to switch to 1440*900 or 1366*768. I've configure the system to run in low-graphic mode since the system will keep prompting for configuring options if other option is selected besides the option to run in low-graphic mode. -- [West Lake] Ubuntu 8.10: System unable to detect optimized graphic resolution. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338598 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
