I apologize if I did not followed up on my report, but I have been busy in the last few days.
I have found (apparently at least) that my case was due to the "Alexa Sparky" addons. Maybe it was querying its server too often (making FF hanging to wait for the results). I have been using FF few days without this addons and almost had no problems (still some sporadic halt, but every time I found the source of the over-processing).
