Dell Dimension 2350 tower. Followed the automatic bug report tool - this is identified as potential duplicate ticket - i really do not know whether it is same or different root cause.
I installed from 9.04beta CD, applied updates up through a couple days ago (apr 8?), then decided to test hibernate. When I turned on the computer, it hung hard, no output at all. Today I zeroed out the swap partition (on a whim, with DBAN <dban.org>), after which ubuntu booted, i was able to log in, then saw the crash report icon.
