Public bug reported: When connecting Alcatel x030 HSDPA modem the system mounts it as a USB stick instead of mounting it as a Broadband modem.
This problem is happening in Ubuntu 8.10. I think is happening with all broadband modems which include software on it. Thus, the system thinks it is a USB stick. There is many information on the internet to solve the problem manually (for example http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=884316&page=2), but I will be great if the system could recognize the card automatically. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Alcatel x030 HSDPA Modem mounted as USB stick https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/357780 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
