Public bug reported:

Hello!
I'm trying to use Ubuntu on my notebook HP nx9005 but when I boot it "hangs"
and it takes at least 15 minutes to show the desktop (without icons, they
aren't loaded)... I can't run and install it!
I tried with earlier version and kubuntu too...nothing...

It seems to be an hardware problem...

I'm not the only one:

How can I get Ubuntu working?
I've tried both safe graphic mode and "linux acpi=off no lapic" but it freeze
anyway!! :(
