The Application Installer is referring to the version available at
adobe.com. Frank, if you install flashplugin-nonfree this will fix your
issue.
Since the bug reported is for the downloadable one and not the one from
the Ubuntu repositories, I am going to close this bug. If your issue
lies within the one from the Ubuntu repositories, please open a new
report using 'flashplugin-nonfree' as the package affected. Thank you.
