Maybe the latest linux-backports-modules-2.6.28-11-generic in Jaunty might help. They have an updated wireless compatibility stack - now my iwlagn can connect to my work's 11n WPA network in 11n mode. Having said that, it also now frequently disconnects and reconnects just like in this bug.
