I can confirm this. Same thing with X61 tablet. Worked fine in intrepid, but now takes about 5 seconds to initialize. Every time you login or type sudo it hangs waiting for the reader to initialize. I am using 0483:2016 SGS Thomson Microelectronics Fingerprint Reader Thanks
