Why is suspend/resume so unpredictable with Linux? Why is it at all? It should be a simple process that executes the same way every time, and resumes the exact same way every time. What kind of varying object does this process rely on? It's like walking across an old rope bridge -- you never know which board will fall through. I am going to do some serious research on how this mechanism works. My bug log is basically the same as above.
