** Description changed: Binary package hint: kaffeine With a fully updated Jaunty (1st April 2009) when watching live TV (DVB-T) it is possible to pause viewing. However when un-pausing, it plays for maybe a second or two then freezes. This is 100% reproducible, but I have never seen this problem with Intrepid. Running 'top' shows there is a minimal amount of CPU activity from kaffeine, however the UI is totally frozen and does not update at all. I also observed it while pausing a DVD, although this didn't seem to be 100% reproducible. Examining the disk showed that when paused it was successfully writing the DVB data to file DVBLive-20090402T112748.m2t as expected. Even when un-paused this file continued to grow as expected and the file was playable, so the underlying DVB system seems to be functioning correctly. + Card is a Conexant CX22702 DVB-T PCI card. + ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: kaffeine 0.8.7-1ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: kaffeine Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
