Thanks Harald for the update. Currently in my system, 'top' as well as 'free' commands show 1.5GB real memory usage, whereas 'KDE System Monitor' shows only 0.5GB usage. !!
I am confused as to which one should be relied upon for the real memory usage. Could you please tell me which one can I rely upon for the memory usage? All these years, I have been using 'top' & 'free' in the server machines and thats why I thought 'System Monitor' is showing wrong values. I still feel that the usage values should be consistent across different tools/utilities. -- Kubuntu Jaunty - System Monitor (ksysguard) showing different memory/cpu values and graphs than top https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/343588 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-workspace in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
