I just tried again : installing icon-naming-utils, gnome-icon-theme and evince_0.7.0 from your site. It installs evince in /usr/local/bin/evince but this version still uses the same print dialog that evince-gtk uses, with no way to use 2ble-sided printing or non-continuous page-ranges.
