I'm using 8.10 x64 as well, and I'm having the same problem with decibel 0.11 and Rhythmbox 0.11.6. I've filed a bug and asked a question about it. Apparently there's a known bug with Rhythmbox leaking threads, decibel appears to have the same problem.
