I screwed around with my existing installation too much and had to do a fresh install of 9.04 beta and the sound works _fine_ now.
One minor glitch is that the sound drops out once in a while. This can be fixed by changing the volume, after that it works OK. I will update my other computer (with similar sound-card) to see if the problem occurs when updating or if this was a "one-time thing". I will do this as soon as possible! I included my sha256sum anyway: # sha256sum /usr/lib/pulse-0.9/modules/module-console-kit.so 73876ceec13d673bad77bf91bda77ad2fff08b12fdbaabdd3e4c0ebd71f4a293 /usr/lib/pulse-0.9/modules/module-console-kit.so -- Sound doesn't work after update to Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351870 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
