Public bug reported:

Similar and most likely linked to other bug (
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/352309) but
different action and behavior so probably technically different bug.

When going into sleep, system produced high pitch siren via speakers.
Unable to determine if sleep was successful as siren too annoying to
leave going. Only solution is to yank DC and Battery. Restarts normally
afterwards and submits this report.

Similar behavior for Hardy and Intrepid previously, now on jaunty too.
No other result has been observed, i.e. consistently failing.
