Public bug reported: I want to help with this: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/SuspendResumeTesting
I hope apport will add all kernel-related info. Thinkpad R51e suspend OK, but after resume only "PC410MD 300/14 TEST BR#14689" is showed on the console screen and I must manually switch off the whole compupter. After switching on the screen is still black, I must remove battery and then I can boot... I remember it works much better about Ubuntu 6.06, maybe the open-source ati driver? (ati X200M). I tried several pm-suspend quirks, sometimes it even suspend&resume OK, but on the second run there is the same problem. i am sorry this is my first bug, I will add any info when needed. ProblemType: KernelOops Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly.
