This bug is in some case depending on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/299653, as I want to use the mirrored display, but gnome-display-properties forces both screen to have the same size, but I want that the maximum of both is used. Selecting the wanted resolution in gnome-display-properties is not possible as it would only work if I would place the part of the desktop displayed by this monitor besides and not on the internal monitor.
Another possible caption for this wanted checkbox could be "If there I an external monitor available at startup, use it with its maximum resolution". ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- Add "use max resolution checkbox+functionality" to gnome-display-properties https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351427 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
