Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

The version of adobe's flash plugin in the jaunty repositories is 10.0.0
d569. The version you get when you download it from Adobe is 10.0 r22.

On my machine, with the version in jaunty, flash generally works
correctly. However, I've noticed, if I try to view a video from youtube
(be it either embedded, or at youtube.com). It doesn't work, and
instead for every single video says "this video is no longer available".
This was obviously a lie, as this was even for videos on youtube's
homepage, and youtube-dl worked fine for downloading the flv.

I thought it might be due to some extension on my machine preventin hte
plugin from downloading it correctly. disabled all of them, no change.

Today, I decided to download the plugin (10.0 r22) from adobe and
install it into my homedir. I disabled the version from jaunty's
repositories and youtube videos play fine.

there's something really wrong, but I can't believe that other aren't
having success, as I'd assume there would be lots of complaints about
youtube not working.
