** Description changed:

  On my Sony VAIO VGN-FS115MR doesn't work Fn key since first Ubuntu.

  Recently I installed 9.04 Beta.
  I maked all from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hotkeys/Troubleshooting.
  It seems acpi doesn't recognize Fn key. See attached files and some of my
commands and results:

  xev | sed -n 's/^.*state \([0-9].*\), keycode *\([0-9]\+\) *\(.*\),
.*$/keycode \2 = \3, state = \1/p'
  => no keypress event after press Fn key.

  hal-find-by-capability --capability input | xargs -n1 lshal -u
  =>
  input.device = '/dev/input/event6'  (string)
    input.keymap.data = {'0x06:mute', '0x07:volumedown', '0x08:volumeup',
'0x09:brightnessdown', '0x0a:brightnessup', '0x0b:switchvideomode',
'0x0e:zoom', '0x10:suspend'} (string list)
    input.product = 'Sony Vaio Keys' (string)
    input.x11_driver = 'evdev'  (string)

  dmesg
  =>
  [   12.956333] sony-laptop: Sony Notebook Control Driver v0.6.
  [ 12.957393] input: Sony Vaio Keys as
/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0A03:00/device:18/SNY5001:00/input/input6
  [ 12.958315] input: Sony Vaio Jogdial as /devices/virtual/input/input7

  acpi_listen
  => shows no events
+ /var/log/acpid no file

  sudo lsinput > lsinput.log
  sudo: lsinput: command not found
