** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg Hmm yeah since a recent upgrade of some packages, probably xorg packages, I have this weird problem after a while I cannot, input text into my editor, cannot type in terminals cannot even get a text cursor also no right click menus any where on the desktop, oh yeah I'm using ubuntu 8.10 grizzlys...@pern:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 - I can still get some left click menus and I ca click buttons i cannot + I can still get some left click menus and I can click buttons i cannot select apps in "System Monitor", but I can use Ctrl+Alt+F1 to get a text console and I can type text there. I can click the little cross on the windows to kill my apps, and I can click the close button and log out of my X session then every thing comes good when I gey a fresh login prompt window
