I see the same thing with the Jaunty Beta Live CD which I downloaded today.
My laptop's an HP 6720s, also with Intel 965 integrated graphics. When resuming from suspend I'm left with a black screen. The mouse pointer is just visible if the mouse is moved, but flickery.
