I've installed the recent beta for Ubuntu 9.04 and choose the Kubuntu-desktop
option.
X will not start either with 'startkde' or 'startx'
The error is "$DISPLAY is not set or cannot connect to the X server."
Setting $DISPLAY to ":0" does not change the error.
