same bug in both: firefox 3.0.7 galeon 2.0.6 both using: Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22
Ubuntu 8.10 and brand new install (with all updates to today: 29-Mar-2009) for me, Xorg doesn't thrash - just galeon and firefox.
