Public bug reported: Binary package hint: paprefs
One of the features missing in the general ubuntu audio setup is the choice for your speaker setup. Currently this has to be done by editing config files, something which should be avoided for commonly used configuration options. Requests for it can be seen here for example: http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/129/ OpenSUSE uses a gui to setup the speaker settings in paprefs. This can be seen on http://blogs.gnome.org/rodrigo/files/2008/06/paprefs-speaker-setup.png The patch can be found here: https://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/devel/applications/multimedia/paprefs/files/paprefs-speaker-setup.patch ** Affects: paprefs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Add speaker configuration patch as in OpenSUSE https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348982 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
