I am not sure if all have the same bug. I can confirm mine easily
through the follow three steps.

1.While downloading the 2.6.29 source code to get the driver my system freezes 
two times. So starting a big download.
2.Ping your router. Most of the time at least 10% of the packets got lost with 
2.6.28. No lost ping with 2.6.29 so far while one or two packets are pretty 
normal for wlan I guess.
3.Check if the freezes are gone with 2.6.29 kernel from here 
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.29/ .
