I have the same problem, but using the Nvidia binary Xorg driver (nvidia-glx-173), also on Intrepid 64bit.
I think the usb adapter in the original reporters setup may be important. This crash happens to me every 10 days or so, but as near as I can tell only when resuming from hibernation, or switching to the laptop when a certain USB KVM is connected. In my case, a Trendnet TK-207 (very cheap, like $20). I'm going to try a new KVM to see if it resolves the problem, but I can do some testing in Jaunty if it would be useful. Is there any reason to believe this bug would be fixed there? -- XServer seg fault (XkbStringText) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
