As of a sudden I also get this issue with the intel driver... I tested on Fedora 11 Alpha (Firefox 3.1 beta 2) and the issue did not occur. Question is whether this is thanks to the newer Firefox version, to the DRI2 Intel driver (which Ubuntu does not yet use), or something else.
