Retrospectively: Besides suspend/resume issues I used to have trouble logging 
in to X. That was with dri on. Then in jaunty with the kernel over 29-10 that 
seemed to get fixed. However, the laptop never woke up after suspend.
As far as this bug is concerned, it is strange, that X gets killed and there 
are no complains in the log except for those. ..
Does the message "ddxSigGiveUp: Closing log" tell you anything?
Why is the log closed, is it because X crashes?
