Photos of those dialogs don't help us. ;-)
We can't troubleshoot this bug without Xorg.0.log[.old] from after
reproducing the problem, and lspci -vvnn output. Probably we'd need the
contents of /var/log/gdm/ as well. There is a command in the failsafe
mode that will gather all this info into a tarball for you. Since it's
been some months since we originally requested this info, I'm expiring
the bug at this time. Feel free to reopen with the requested data if
the problem still occurs on Jaunty.
