Hi,
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 on an Advent 4211c Netbook and the integrated
webcam does not seem to work. Typing lsusb and toggling the webcam on
and off does show an extra line, but under cheese and skype I can not
detect the webcam and the 'on' light never turns on. I had a similar
problem on the original Advent 4211 netbook, but subsequent updates
fixed this. This seems to be a new bug. Below you should find the output
of uname -a and I will include attachments of the dmesg log and lspci
-vvnn below.
