It's not reasonable to say that Notify OSD doesn't > "bother to see if I had settings from previously", where "previously" > means "a bug in an alpha release". Previously (read: under Intrepid) my notifications came from the bottom right and stacked up. notify-osd gets it all wrong. What makes you guys think you know what I want on my system better than I do? This notification system really rubs me the wrong way, and the snobbishness surrounding it does, too. Whatever. If it doesn't get fixed, I (or someone else) will fix it in a PPA, more likely than not. --- Mike -- notify-osd doesn't honor my preference https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346095 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
